Acceptance of invitation and payment of membership fee
I hereby accept the invitation for international membership to Rowallan Castle Golf Club and enclose a check payable to the Club or have authorized my credit card to be charged in the amount of the payment described below:
I hereby agree to pay my non-refundable international membership fee of $2,500 (U.S.) as follows:
Payment in full with this signed agreement.
Receipt of the international membership plan
I hereby acknowledge receipt of, and I have read, a copy of Rowallan Castle’s international membership plan and the rules and regulations of the Club. I hereby agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions of the membership plan, as they may be amended from time to time. I agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the membership plan.
Terms and conditions of membership
International membership to the Club commences from the date this agreement is signed and extends until December 31, 2027. Renewal of the membership will be on an annual basis beginning January 1, 2028. The international membership fee of $2,500 (U.S.) includes $2,000 (U.S.) to be credited to your member account at the Club. Member credit may be used for: accommodation at the Old Castle or New Castle (exclusive-use venues, subject to availability); guest green fees; golf shop purchases; on-property food and beverage; estate services; and Rowallan Castle organized events or travel itineraries within Scotland (or any combination of these). In addition, member credit may be transferred by the member to any other person. Member credit shall be valid until December 31, 2027. After this date, unused credit shall expire and be forfeited.
Membership privileges
I understand that my membership privileges are conditioned upon my payment of the required membership fee, annual dues, fees and charges established by the Club from time to time.
I hereby acknowledge that my membership constitutes a revokable license to use the Club facilities and does not confer me any ownership interest, or confer upon me any vested or prescriptive right or easement, in or to use the Club facilities.
International members shall enjoy full member privileges at the Club, including unlimited golf without green fees for the member during the membership period.
Acknowledgment of membership rights
Membership in the Club permits the member to use the Club facilities in accordance with the membership plan. Membership in the Club is not an investment in the Club or its facilities. Members are not entitled to vote or participate in management of the Club.
The Club reserves the right to terminate or modify the membership plan, to discontinue operation of any or all of the Club facilities, to issue or terminate any membership, and to make any other changes in the terms and conditions of the membership or the Club facilities available for use by members.
Payment of dues, fees and charges
I hereby acknowledge that all food, beverage, merchandise, and services of the Club shall be paid for at the time of receipt. In the event a member is in residence at Rowallan, an account will be set up and payable at the time of check-out.
I further acknowledge that dues shall be billed and payable on an annual basis.
Hold harmless
I hereby acknowledge that any use of the Club and its facilities is undertaken with the risk of possible injury. I hereby accept any and all risk of injury to myself, my guests, and my family sustained while using the Club facilities or involved in any event or activity incident to membership in the Club. In accepting risk of injury, I understand I am relieving the owner, the Club, and their directors, partners, shareholders, employees and affiliates from any and all loss, cost, claims, injury, damage or liability sustained or incurred by me, my guests and my family resulting from or arising out of any conduct or event connected with membership in the Club and use of its facilities.
I understand that membership in the Club is subject to approval and payment of the required membership fee.
